The Nationals rebounded with a 12-3 win over the Marlins thanks to multi-RBI nights from Ryan Zimmerman, Bryce Harper and Daniel Murphy. Gio Gonzalez had a strong outing over the course of seven innings, only giving up three runs while striking out eight. The Nats go for the series win today at 12:10 p.m. with Max Scherzer on the hill

The Nationals got on the board in the top of the third with a 2-RBI single by Harper into center field that scored Michael Taylor and Trea Turner. The Nats added four more runs in the fifth. Brian Goodwin hit an RBI single that into center field that scored Taylor. Zimmerman followed with a double into left field that allowed Goodwin and Harper to cross the plate. Stephen Drew added a single into right field that scored Zimmerman.
In the eighth, Daniel Murphy homered over the wall in right-center for his 12th of the season. The Nats added five more runs in the ninth. With the bases loaded Zimmerman singled into right field to plate Turner. Murphy added a single to right that scored Goodwin. Drew would double to right field to bring home Harper and Zimmerman. Matt Wieters grounded out but it allowed Murphy to score from third.
