Winter is coming this Friday night at Nationals Park. The team’s promotion in their first home game after their seven-game road trip is “Game of Thrones” night. The Nationals will hide 10 prize-filled dragon eggs on Tuesday morning in scattered locations in D.C., Maryland and Virginia.
The clues will come in the form of a Westeros-themed map that will be posted on the team’s social media channels as well as The Washington Post Express. The prizes inside will be a Nats “Game of Thrones” tee, two tickets to Friday’s game and a fast pass to pose for a photo on the Iron Throne in the right field plaza.
The first 20,000 fans on Friday will receive an exclusive Nationals “Game of Thrones” tee which features GoT inspired banners of nine Nats players. The racing presidents are ready for Friday.
The Nats aren’t the only team doing a “Game of Thrones” night. With MLB partnering with HBO, 20 other teams are partaking in the promotion as well. Season seven of “Game of Thrones” will premiere on July 16.
