After a two-night layoff due to mother nature, Washington DC was finally tuned back into baseball on Saturday night. Just 24 hours after John Wall delivered a game-winning shot to keep the Wizards’ season alive, DC celebrated another big walk-off courtesy of Bryce Harper for a 6-4 win.

After his heroics, Harper gave a shoutout to the #WallStar in his postgame interview.
This came after Harper agreed to a deal with the Nationals for the 2018 season. It’ll be the final year the Nats have control to his rights.
Before Harper delivered the clutch homer, the Phillies went up early 4-0. Trea Turner would start the rally in the bottom of the fifth with a two run homer into the seats in centerfield. After Jayson Werth and Harper each walked, Ryan Zimmerman delivered a two run double into centerfield to tie the game.
The Nationals and Phillies will take part in a Mother’s Day doubleheader. Game 1 begins at 1:35 while Game 2 should start at 7:05.
