The Nats fell to the Rockies in the third and final game of the series Sunday afternoon at Nationals Park 5-3.
Lucas Giolito allowed four Rockies runs over five innings in the loss.
The Nats got their three runs all by the long ball. Trea Turner continued his impressive season with a home run into left field in the bottom of the first inning, tying the game at 1. It was his fifth of the season.
Colorado scored three runs in the top of the fourth to go back in front. In the bottom of the seventh, a home run by Wilson Ramos into the red seats in center field made it a two-run game. It was the 20th home run of the season for the buffalo.
The Rockies added a run in the eighth. Bryce Harper led off the final inning with a home run but that was as close as the Nats would get as they dropped two of three to the Rockies.
The Nats will hit the road this week and travel to Philadelphia and New York. First up, a three game affair with the Phillies beginning tomorrow night at 7:05 p.m.
