Gio Gonzalez gave up two runs on six hits for another rough outing on the mound. He only had one strikeout. The loss dipped his ERA to 4.29.

The Nats offense was held hitless by Giants starter Matt Cain. When George Kontos came in during the sixth. Bryce Harper led off with a single and Anthony Rendon brought him home two batters later. That was the only run the Nats scored as they fell in game three of the series 3-1.

The Nats head to Arizona to take on the Diamondbacks beginning tonight with a 9:40 first pitch.
